MARCH 1, MORNING MARCH 1, EVENING

The fruit of the Spirit is love

GOD is love and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him -- The love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us -- This precious value, then, is for you who believe.--We love because He first loved us.-- the love of Christ controls us, having concluded this, that one died for all, therefore all died and He died for all, that they who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died and rose again on their behalf.
You yourselves are taught by God to love one another.--This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you -- Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins -- Walk in love, just as Christ also loved you, and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.

Jehovah Nissi:
The LORD is my banner

IF God is for us, who is against us?--The LORD is for me. I will not fear. What can man do to me?
Thou hast given a banner to those who fear Thee.
The LORD is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the defense of my life. Whom shall I dread? -- Though a host encamp against me, my heart will not fear. Though war arise against me, in spite of this I shall be confident.
Behold, God is with us at our head.-- The LORD of hosts is with us. The God of Jacob is our stronghold. Selah.
These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them because He is Lord of lords and King of kings. -- Why are the nations in an uproar, and the peoples devising a vain thing? He who sits in the heavens laughs, The Lord scoffs at them.-- Devise a plan but it will be thwarted. State a proposal, but it will not stand, for God is with us.

MARCH 2, MORNING MARCH 2, EVENING

God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction

BLESSED be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.
In this you greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ -- The Lord stood with me, and strengthened me.

Let those also who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.

Ge 41.52. 2Co. 1.3-5. 1Pe. 1.6, 7.--
2Ti. 4.17. 1Pe. 4.19.

There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God.

THERE the wicked cease from raging, And there the weary are at rest. The prisoners are at ease together. They do not hear the voice of the taskmaster.
Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on!... they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow with them.

Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep... Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that He was speaking of literal sleep.
We are in this tent, we groan, being burdened.-- Also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our body. For in hope we have been saved, but hope that is seen is not hope...But if we hope for what we do not see, with perseverance we wait eagerly for it.

MARCH 3, MORNING MARCH 3, EVENING

Trust in the LORD with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.

TRUST in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go. I will counsel you with My eye upon you. Do not be as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check, otherwise they will not come near to you. Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in the LORD, lovingkindness shall surround him -- Your ears will hear a word behind you, 'This is the way, walk in it' whenever you turn to the right or to the left.
If Thy presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here. For how then can it be known that I have found favor in Thy sight, I and Thy people? Is it not by Thy going with us, so that we, I and Thy people, may be distinguished from all the other people who are upon the face of the earth?

The prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

YOU shall have treasure in heaven... follow Me.-- I am... your exceeding great reward.

Well done, good and faithful slave; you were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things, enter into the joy of your master.--They shall reign forever and ever.

You will receive the unfading crown of glory.-- The crown of life.--the crown of righteousness.-- An imperishable crown.

Father, I desire that they also, whom Thou hast given Me, be with Me where I am, in order that they may behold My glory, which Thou hast given Me.-- Thus we shall always be with the Lord.

I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

MARCH 4, MORNING MARCH 4, EVENING

Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth.

DO
not love the world, nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. -- Do not lay up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

For we walk by faith, not by sight.--Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal -- An inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.

Col. 3.2. 1John 2.15.--Mt. 6.19-21.
2Co. 5.7.--2Co. 4.16-18.--1Pe 1.4.

He bowed his shoulder to bear burdens

As an example, brethren, of suffering and patience, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord --Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come.

Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity? In all this Job did not sin with his lips --Aaron, therefore, kept silent.-- It is the LORD; let Him do what seems good to Him.

Cast your burden upon the LORD, and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken --Surely our griefs He Himself bore and our sorrows He carried

Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and YOU SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. For My yoke is easy, and My load is light.

MARCH 5, MORNING MARCH 5, EVENING

Lord, I am oppressed, be my security.

DO not love the world, nor the things in the world.

2Co. 5.7.--2Co. 4.16, 17, 18.--1Pe 1.4.

Fight the good fight of faith.

WE were afflicted on every side: conflicts without, fears within -- Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them. -- Strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might.
You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted -- God is my strong fortress...He trains my hands for battle so that my arms can bend a bow of bronze -- our adequacy is from God. .

The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them -- Behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.

Time will fail me if I tell...of those who by faith conquered kingdoms... from weakness were made strong, became mighty in war, put foreign armies to flight.

MARCH 6, MORNING MARCH 6, EVENING

He preserves the way of His godly ones.

THE LORD your God . . . goes before you on your way, to seek out a place for you to encamp, in fire by night and cloud by day, to show you the way in which you should go -- Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that hovers over its young, He spread His wings and caught them, He carried them on His pinions. The LORD alone guided him, and there was no foreign god with him --The steps of a man are established by the LORD; And He delights in his way. When he falls, he shall not be hurled headlong; Because the LORD is the One who holds his hand --Many are the afflictions of the righteous; But the LORD delivers him out of them all --For the LORD knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish --We know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose --With us is the LORD our God to help us and to fight our battles

The LORD your God is in your midst, a victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy

"MY GOD, MY GOD, WHY HAST THOU FORSAKEN ME?"

HE was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed...has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him...He was cut off out of the land of the living, for the transgression of my people...the LORD was pleased To crush Him, putting Him to grief.

Jesus our Lord...was delivered up because of our transgressions --Christ ...also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, in order that He might bring us to God --He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us

MARCH 7, MORNING MARCH 7, EVENING

Your husband is your Maker, Whose name is the LORD of hosts

THIS is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

It will no longer be said to you, Forsaken... but you will be called My delight is in her...For the LORD delights in you. As the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so your God will rejoice over you. -- The LORD...has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted... to comfort all who mourn to grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.

I will rejoice greatly in the LORD. My soul will exult in my God; for He has clothed me with garments of salvation, He has wrapped me with a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

I will betroth you to Me forever. Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and in justice in lovingkindness and in compassion.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?

My times are in Thy hand.

ALL Thy holy ones are in Thy hand.--The word of the LORD came to [Elijah], saying, Go away from here and turn eastward, and hide yourself by the brook Cherith, which is east of the Jordan. And it shall be that you shall drink of the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to provide for you there -- Then the word of the LORD came to him, saying, Arise, go to Zarephath, which belongs to Sidon, and stay there; behold, I have commanded a widow there to provide for you.

Do not be anxious for your life, as to what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, as to what you shall put on... for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight -- casting all your anxiety upon Him, because He cares for you.

MARCH 8, MORNING MARCH 8, EVENING

Thou hast cast all my sins behind Thy back.

WHO is a God like Thee, who pardons iniquity and passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in unchanging love. He will again have compassion on us. He will tread our iniquities under foot. Yes, Thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.

For a brief moment I forsook you, but with great compassion I will gather you. In an outburst of anger I hid My face from you for a moment but with everlasting lovingkindness I will have compassion on you, says the LORD your Redeemer.--  I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.

How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered! How blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no deceit! -- The blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able

ABLE to do exceeding abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us.

      Able to make all grace abound to you, that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;
Able to come to the aid of those who are tempted.

Able to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
Able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy,
Able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.
Who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.
Do you believe that I am able to do this?... Yes, Lord... Be it done to you according to your faith.

God, Who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.

BEWARE lest you forget the LORD your God by not keeping His commandments and His ordinances and His statutes which I am commanding you today lest, when you have eaten and are satisfied, and have built good houses and lived in them...then your heart becomes proud, and you forget the LORD your God... for it is He who is giving you power to make wealth.

Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless the LORD guards the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to retire late, to eat the bread of painful labors; for He gives to His beloved even in his sleep -- For by their own sword they did not possess the land and their own arm did not save them but Thy right hand, and Thine arm, and the light of Thy presence, for Thou didst favor them. -- Many are saying, Who will show us any good? Lift up the light of Thy countenance upon us, O LORD!

A NEW and living way, which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, His flesh -- not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, Whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior -- By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God not as a result of works, that no one should boast.

Not to us, O LORD, not to us, But to Thy name give glory because of Thy lovingkindness, because of Thy truth.-- To Him who loves us, and released us from our sins by His blood, and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father; to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.--

Thou wast slain, and didst purchase for God with Thy blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation -- I looked, and behold, a great multitude, which no one could count... and they cry out with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God Who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.

Jehovah Jireh: The Lord will provide.

GOD will provide for Himself a lamb for a burnt offering.

Behold, the LORD'S hand is not so short That it cannot save, neither is His ear so dull That it cannot hear -- The Deliverer will come from Zion. He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.

How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God --Behold, the eye of the LORD is on those who fear Him, on those who hope for His lovingkindness, to deliver their soul from death.

My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus -- He Himself has said, I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU  so that we confidently say, THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT SHALL MAN DO TO ME? - The LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him.

If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's commandments, and abide in His love.

May my beloved come into his garden And eat its choice fruits -- I have come into my garden, my sister, my bride; I have gathered my myrrh along with my balsam. I have eaten my honeycomb and my honey.-- The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.
By this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples -- Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it, that it may bear more fruit.--having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

The LORD bless you, and keep you

THE blessing of the LORD, that makes rich, and He adds no sorrow to it -- Thou Who dost bless the righteous man, O LORD. Thou dost surround him with favor as with a shield.

He will not allow your foot to slip. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper. The LORD is your shade on your right hand. -- The LORD will protect you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever. -- I, the LORD, am its keeper; I water it every moment. Lest anyone damage it, I guard it night and day.

Holy Father, keep them in Thy name, the name which Thou hast given Me, that they may be one, even as We are. While I was with them, I was keeping them in Thy name which Thou hast given Me and I guarded them.

The Lord will deliver me from every evil deed and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Jesus wept.

A MAN of sorrows, and acquainted with grief.--We do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses.--It was fitting for Him, for Whom are all things, and through Whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to perfect the Author of their salvation through sufferings.--Although He was a Son, He learned obedience from the things which He suffered.

I was not disobedient, nor did I turn back. I gave My back to those who strike Me and My cheeks to those who pluck out the beard. I did not cover My face from humiliation and spitting.
Behold how He loved him.--He does not give help to angels, but He gives help to the descendant of Abraham. Therefore, He had to be made like His brethren in all things, that He might become a merciful and faithful High Priest in things pertaining to God, to make propitiation for the sins of the people.

The LORD make His face shine on you and be gracious to you. The LORD lift up His countenance on you and give you peace.

NO man has seen God at any time; the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.--He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature.-- The god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, Who is the image of God.

Make Thy face to shine upon Thy servant; Save me in Thy lovingkindness. Let me not be put to shame, O LORD, for I call upon Thee -- LORD, by Thy favor Thou hast made my mountain to stand strong. Thou didst hide Thy face, I was dismayed --Blessed are the people who know the joyful sound! O LORD, they walk in the light of Thy countenance.
The LORD will give strength to His people; The LORD will bless His people with peace.
Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.

Things that are pleasing in His sight.

WITHOUT faith it is impossible to please him.-- Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.--The LORD takes pleasure in His people.

This finds favor, if for the sake of conscience toward God a man bears up under sorrows when suffering unjustly -- If, when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God.-- The imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in the sight of God.
He who offers a sacrifice of thanksgiving honors Me; And to him who orders his way aright I shall show the salvation of God.-- I will praise the name of God with song, And shall magnify Him with thanksgiving. And it will please the LORD better than an ox Or a young bull with horns and hoofs.
I urge you... brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

MARCH 13, MORNING MARCH 13, EVENING

For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man  Christ Jesus.

Since then the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same.
Turn to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God, and there is no other.

We have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.--In Christ Jesus, you who formerly were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. For He Himself is our peace -- through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.
And for this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, in order that since a death has taken place for the redemption of the transgressions that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance. --He is able to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

The steadfast of mind Thou wilt keep in perfect peace, because he trusts in Thee. Trust in the LORD forever, for in GOD Jehovah, we have an everlasting Rock.

Cast your burden upon the LORD, and He will sustain you --He has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Neither has He hidden His face from him; But when he cried to Him for help, He heard.--Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray.

Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.--do not be anxious for your life, as to what you shall eat, or what you shall drink; nor for your body, as to what you shall put on. Is not life more than food, and the body than clothing? Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they?--Be not unbelieving, but believing. -- Lo, I am with you always.

MARCH 14, MORNING MARCH 14, EVENING

Adorn the doctrine of God our Savior
in every respect.

Conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ -- Abstain from every form of evil.-- If you are reviled for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. By no means let any of you suffer as a murderer, or thief, or evildoer, or a troublesome meddler -- be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world -- Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.

Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute In the sight of God and man.--Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.

The words that I have spoken to you
are spirit and are life.

OF his own will He brought us forth by the word of truth.--The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

      Christ... loved the church and gave Himself up for her; that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing;
How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Thy word. Thy word has revived me. Thy word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against Thee. I shall not forget Thy word. I trust in Thy word. The law of Thy mouth is better to me Than thousands of gold and silver pieces. I will never forget Thy precepts, For by them Thou hast revived me. How sweet are Thy words to my taste! Yes, sweeter than honey to my mouth! Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.

MARCH 15, MORNING MARCH 15, EVENING

Perfect...through sufferings.

MY soul is deeply grieved, to the point of death; remain here and keep watch with Me. And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as Thou wilt. --And being in agony He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground.

The cords of death encompassed me, and the terrors of Sheol came upon me; I found distress and sorrow.--Reproach has broken my heart, and I am so sick. And I looked for sympathy, but there was none, and for comforters, but I found none.-- Look to the right and see; for there is no one who regards me. There is no escape for me. No one cares for my soul.

He was despised and forsaken of men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and like one from Whom men hide their face. He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.

He 2.10. Mt. 26.38, 39.--Lk 22.44.
Ps. 116.3.--Ps. 69.20.--Ps. 142.4. Is. 53.3.

The LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them.

THE heavens are telling of the glory of God and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.-- By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and by the breath of His mouth all their host. For He spoke, and it was done. He commanded, and it stood fast..--Behold, the nations are like a drop from a bucket and are regarded as a speck of dust on the scales. Behold, He lifts up the islands like fine dust.

By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible.

When I consider Thy heavens, the work of Thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which Thou hast ordained, what is man, that Thou dost take thought of him? And the son of man, that Thou dost care for him?

MARCH 16, MORNING MARCH 16, EVENING

You do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.

MY days are swifter than a runner; they flee away, they see no good. They slip by like reed boats, like an eagle that swoops on its prey -- Thou hast swept them away like a flood, they fall asleep. In the morning they are like grass which sprouts anew. In the morning it flourishes, and sprouts anew. Toward evening it fades, and withers away. -- Man, who is born of woman, is short-lived and full of turmoil. Like a flower he comes forth and withers. He also flees like a shadow and does not remain.

The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God abides forever. -- They will perish, but Thou dost endure; and all of them will wear out like a garment; like clothing Thou wilt change them, and they will be changed. But Thou art the same, and Thy years will not come to an end. -- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, yes and forever.

I shall sing with the spirit and I shall sing with the mind also.

BE filled with the Spirit; speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord -- Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD; and all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.

Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; For it is pleasant and praise is becoming. Sing to the LORD with thanksgiving. Sing praises to our God on the lyre,

I heard a voice from heaven, like the sound of many waters and like the sound of loud thunder, and the voice which I heard was like the sound of harpists playing on their harps.

MARCH 17, MORNING MARCH 17, EVENING

He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, that it may be accepted for him to make atonement on his behalf.

Knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ.--He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed. --which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.
As living stones...built up as a spiritual house for a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.-- I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship.

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen.

WHEN the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was desirable to make one wise, she took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.
The tempter came and said to Him, If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread. But He answered...'MAN SHALL NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE, BUT ON EVERY WORD THAT PROCEEDS OUT OF THE MOUTH OF GOD -- The devil...showed Him all the kingdoms of the world, and their glory (the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life) Then Jesus said...Begone, Satan!...YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY.

Since He Himself was tempted in that which He has suffered, He is able to come to the aid of those who are tempted.

Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial (temptation)..

MARCH 18, MORNING MARCH 18, EVENING

My eyes fail from looking upward.

Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am pining away. Heal me, O LORD, for my bones are dismayed. And my soul is greatly dismayed, but Thou, O LORD-- how long? Return, O LORD, rescue my soul. Save me because of Thy lovingkindness.-- My heart is in anguish within me, and the terrors of death have fallen upon me. Fear and trembling come upon me and horror has overwhelmed me. And I said, Oh, that I had wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.
       You have need of endurance,
       As they were gazing intently into the sky while He was departing, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them and they also said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven. -- our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.-- Looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus;

The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble, and He knows those who take refuge in Him.-- Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, until we have sealed the bond-servants of our God on their foreheads.
Having also believed, you were sealed in Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, Who is given as a pledge of our inheritance --Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and anointed us is God, who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.
I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God, and My new name. --  This is the name by which she shall be called: the LORD is our righteousness.

God raised up His Servant, and sent Him to bless you by turning every one of you from your wicked ways

BLESSED be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead --Saved by his life.

Our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself a people for His own possession, zealous for good deeds. -- Like the Holy One Who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior because it is written, YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY.
The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ -- In Him all the fulness of Deity dwells in bodily form and in Him you have been made complete.-- Of His fulness we have all received, and grace upon grace.

He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

Strengthen me according to Thy word

REMEMBER the word to Thy servant, in which Thou hast made me hope.-- O Lord, I am oppressed, be my security.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.-- You know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one word of all the good words which the LORD your God spoke concerning you has failed; all have been fulfilled for you, not one of them has failed.

Do not be afraid. Peace be with you; take courage and be courageous! Now as soon as he spoke to me, I received strength and said, May my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.- Take courage, declares the LORD, and work for I am with you, says the LORD of hosts.-- Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.
Be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of His might.

MARCH 20, MORNING MARCH 20, EVENING

The unfolding of Thy words gives light

THIS . . . is the message which we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.-- God, who said, Light shall shine out of darkness is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. -- The Word was God. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. -- If we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Thy word I have treasured in my heart, That I may not sin against Thee.-- You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.

You were formerly darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light --  You are A CHOSEN RACE, A royal PRIESTHOOD, A HOLY NATION, A PEOPLE FOR God's OWN POSSESSION, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

Noah was a righteous man

THE righteous man shall live by faith.--Noah built an altar to the LORD, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the LORD smelled the soothing aroma.--The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.

By the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction.

We...exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.

Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies --Whom He predestined, these He also called; and whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.

MARCH 21, MORNING MARCH 21, EVENING

Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain,
which were about to die

THE end of all things is at hand: therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.-- Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls about like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
-- Give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life -- MY RIGHTEOUS ONE SHALL LIVE BY FAITH; AND IF HE SHRINKS BACK, MY SOUL HAS NO PLEASURE IN HIM. But we are not of those who shrink back to destruction, but of those who have faith to the preserving of the soul.

What I say to you I say to all, Be on the alert!
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.

Has His lovingkindness ceased forever?

HIS lovingkindness is everlasting.--The LORD is slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness --Who is a God like Thee, Who pardons iniquity and passes over the rebellious act of the remnant of His possession? He does not retain His anger forever, because He delights in unchanging love. He will again have compassion on us. He will tread our iniquities under foot. Yes, Thou wilt cast all their sins Into the depths of the sea. -- He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy
Blessed Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort Who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

Lot lifted up his eyes and saw all the valley of the Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere-this was before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah- like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt as you go to Zoar. So Lot chose for himself all the valley of the Jordan

Righteous Lot, oppressed by the sensual conduct of unprincipled men
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.--Remember Lot's wife.

      Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE, says the Lord. AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN.-- Do not be partakers with them for you were formerly darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. And do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them;

The work of righteousness will be peace, And the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.

Stand firm...HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. HOLY, HOLY, HOLY, is THE LORD GOD, THE ALMIGHTY

THOU art holy, O Thou who art enthroned upon the praises of Israel.-- Do not come near here; remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground. I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God. -- To whom then will you liken Me That I should be his equal? says the Holy One.-- I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.-- I, even I, am the LORD and there is no savior besides Me.

Like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY. -- Know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? -- We are the temple of the living God; just as God said, I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. -- Do two men walk together unless they have made an appointment?

For why should I be like one who veils herself beside the flocks of your companions? -- I found him whom my soul loves; I held on to him and would not let him go

Abraham believed in the LORD and He reckoned it to him as righteousness.

With respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God, and being fully assured that what He had promised, He was able also to perform. Therefore also IT WAS RECKONED TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS. Now not for his sake only was it written, that it was reckoned to him, but for our sake also, to whom it will be reckoned, as those who believe in Him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.

The promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would be heir of the world was not through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.

The RIGHTEOUS man SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.--Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.--our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases.-- For nothing will be impossible with God.-- And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what had been spoken to her by the Lord.

The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord, and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.-- Thou hast made them to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth.--I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given to them... and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.-- Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.-- Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.

SO so that we confidently say, THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID. WHAT SHALL MAN DO TO ME?

Behold, I am with you, and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you. --Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.

Demas, having loved this present world, has deserted me
--At my first defense no one supported me, but all deserted me; may it not be counted against them. But the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me.-- For my father and my mother have forsaken me, but the LORD will take me up.

The kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet cast into the sea, and gathering fish of every kind

If I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for I am under compulsion; for woe is me if I do not preach the gospel. I have become all things to all men, that I may by all means save some.

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.-- My word...shall not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
My word .-- So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth.

MARCH 26, MORNING MARCH 26, EVENING

The kingdom of heaven is just like a man about to go on a journey, who called his own slaves, and entrusted his possessions to them...each according to his own ability

Do you not know that when you present yourselves to someone as slaves for obedience, you are slaves of the one whom you obey?

One and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills...the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.--As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.--It is required of stewards that one be found trustworthy.--And from everyone who has been given much shall much be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.

And who is adequate for these things?--I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

Contributing to the needs of the saints

DAVID said, Is there yet anyone left of the house of Saul, that I may show him kindness for Jonathan's sake?

Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in, naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. To the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.-- Whoever in the name of a disciple gives to one of these little ones even a cup of cold water to drink, truly I say to you he shall not lose his reward.

Do not neglect doing good and sharing; for with such sacrifices God is pleased.-- God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints.

MARCH 27, MORNING MARCH 27, EVENING

He who sows righteousness gets a true reward.

AFTER after a long time the master of those slaves came and settled accounts with them. And the one who had received the five talents came up and brought five more talents, saying, Master, you entrusted five talents to me; see, I have gained five more talents. His master said to him, Well done, good and faithful slave; you were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things, enter into the joy of your master.

We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad.
I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
I am coming quickly; hold fast what you have, in order that no one take your crown..

Pr 11.18. Mat. 25.19, 20, 21. 2Co. 5.10.
2Ti. 4.7, 8. Re. 3.11.

God is faithful.

GOD is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? -- THE LORD HAS SWORN AND WILL NOT CHANGE HIS MIND
God, desiring even more to show to the heirs of the promise the unchangeableness of His purpose, interposed with an oath, in order that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have strong encouragement, we who have fled for refuge in laying hold of the hope set before us.--Therefore, let those also who suffer according to the will of God entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.

I also suffer these things, but I am not ashamed; for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.--Faithful is He who calls you, and He also will bring it to pass.-- As many as may be the promises of God, in Him they are yes...to the glory of God

MARCH 28, MORNING MARCH 28, EVENING

Be strong and courageous

THE LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the defense of my life; of whom shall I dread?-- He gives strength to the weary, and to him who lacks might He increases power. Though youths grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run and not get tired. They will walk and not become weary.--My flesh and my heart may fail, But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

If God is for us, who is against us? --The LORD is for me. I will not fear. What can man do to me? --Through Thee we will push back our adversaries. Through Thy Name we will trample down those who rise up against us.- We overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
Arise and work, and may the LORD be with you.

Our friend...has fallen asleep

I do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve, as do the rest who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus.
If the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless. You are still in your sins. Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished.-- Now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.

It came about when all the nation had finished crossing the Jordan, that the LORD spoke to Joshua, saying, Take up for yourselves twelve stones...these stones shall become a memorial to the sons of Israel forever. -- This Jesus God raised up again, to which we are all witnesses.--Witnesses... chosen beforehand...who ate and drank with Him after He arose from the dead.

MARCH 29, MORNING MARCH 29, EVENING

Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

FEAR not, little flock; for your Father has chosen gladly to give you the kingdom.--did not God choose the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?-- Heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him in order that we may also be glorified with Him.
The Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me--God is not ashamed to be called their God; for He has prepared a city for them.

He who overcomes shall inherit these things, and I will be his God and he will be My son.-- There is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.--He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.

Riches are not forever, Nor does a crown endure to all generations.

SURELY riches are not forever, Nor does a crown endure to all generations --Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth -- Do not lay up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.-- We look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen.-- He who sows righteousness gets a true reward.--There is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.-- the unfading crown of glory.

MARCH 30, MORNING MARCH 30, EVENING

Isaac went out to meditate in the field toward evening

LET the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my Roc, and my Redeemer.

When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; what is man, that Thou dost take thought of him? And the son of man, that Thou dost care for him?--Great are the works of the LORD; They are studied by all who delight in them.

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night.-This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night--My soul is satisfied as with marrow and fatness, and my mouth offers praises with joyful lips. When I remember Thee on my bed, I meditate on Thee in the night watches

Ps. 63.5, 6.

How long, O LORD? Wilt Thou forget me forever? How long wilt Thou hide Thy face from me?

EVERY good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father--But Zion said The LORD has forsaken me, and the Lord has forgotten me. Can a woman forget her nursing child, And have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you.

You will not be forgotten by Me. I have wiped out your transgressions like a thick cloud, And your sins like a heavy mist.

Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus. When therefore He heard that he was sick, He stayed then two days longer in the place where He was.--A woman...began to cry out, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is cruelly demon-possessed. But He did not answer her a word.

MARCH 31, MORNING MARCH 31, EVENING

My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

SEEK seek first His kingdom and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added to you.--He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?-- All things belong to you, whether Paul or Apollos or Cephas or the world or life or death or things present or things to come; all things belong to you, and you belong to Christ; and Christ belongs to God. -- As having nothing yet possessing all things.

      The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.-- The LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD gives grace and glory; No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.--God...richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.--God is able to make all grace abound to you, that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed;

What fellowship has light with darkness?

MEN loved darkness rather than the light; for their deeds were evil.--you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness.

Darkness has blinded his eyes.--Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.

The dark places of the land are full of the habitations of violence -- Love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love.

The way The way of the wicked is like darkness; They do not know over what they stumble. But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, That shines brighter and brighter until the full day.

I have come as light into the world, that everyone who believes in Me may not remain in darkness.

You were formerly darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light
