The fruit of
the Spirit is patience, kindness |
HE
LORD, the LORD God,
compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in lovingkindness
and truth. -- Walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which you have
been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing
forbearance to one another in love --Be kind to one another, tender-hearted,
forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.--The
wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of
mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy.-- Love is patient,
love is kind
In due time we shall
reap if we do not grow weary --Be patient, therefore, brethren, until the
coming of the Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious produce of the
soil, being patient about it, until it gets the early and late rains. You
too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at
hand.

ILL God indeed dwell
with mankind on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot
contain Thee.--The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld His
glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and
truth .--Great is the mystery of godliness: He who was revealed in the
flesh. -- God in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He
appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.
The first day of the
week, and when the doors were shut where the disciples were...Jesus came and
stood in their midst, The disciples therefore rejoiced when they saw the
Lord. After eight days again His disciples were inside, and Thomas with
them. Jesus came^, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst, and
said, "Peace be with you. Then He said to Thomas, Reach here your
finger, and see My hands; and reach here your hand, and put it into My side;
and be not unbelieving, but believing.". Thomas said My Lord and my
God.--Unto us a son is given: the mighty God

Now you shall eat it in this manner: with your loins girded...and you
shall eat it in haste-- it is the LORD'S Passover |
RISE and go, For this
is no place of rest.--Here we do not have a lasting city, but we are seeking
the city which is to come.--There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the
people of God.
Be dressed
in readiness, and keep your lamps alight. And be like men who are waiting
for their master when he returns from the wedding feast, so that they may
immediately open the door to him when he comes and knocks. Blessed are those
slaves whom the master shall find on the alert when he comes - Gird your
minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the
grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ --One thing I
do: forgetting what lies behind...I press on toward the goal for the prize
of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let us therefore, as many as are
perfect, have this attitude.

The LORD is
the portion of my inheritance and my cup |
EIRS of God, and
and fellow heirs with Christ.--All things belong to you --My beloved is
mine.--The Son of God... loved me, and delivered Himself up for me.
The LORD
said to Aaron, You shall have no inheritance in their land, nor own any
portion among them. I am your portion and your inheritance among the sons of
Israel.
Whom have I in
heaven but Thee? And besides Thee, I desire nothing on earth. My flesh and
my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion
forever.
Though I
walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for Thou art
with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.--I know Whom I have
believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted
to Him until that day.
O God, Thou art my God; I shall seek Thee earnestly; My
soul thirsts for Thee, my flesh yearns for Thee, In a dry and weary land
where there is no water.

Be on the
alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour. |
e on guard, that your
hearts may not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the
worries of life, and that day come on you suddenly like a trap for it will
come upon all those who dwell on the face of all the earth. But keep on the
alert at all times, praying in order that you may have strength to escape
all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son
of Man.
The day of the Lord will come just like a
thief in the night. While they are saying, Peace and safety! then
destruction will come upon them suddenly like birth pangs upon a woman with
child; and they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness,
that the day should overtake you like a thief for you are all sons of light
and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; so then let us not
sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober.

Enoch walked with God; and he was not, for

Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord
and Savior Jesus Christ. -- We all, with unveiled face beholding as in a
mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from
glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.

keep them from the evil one. I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be

When you do
all the things which are commanded you, say, We are unworthy slaves |
HERE then is
boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of
faith.--What do you have that you did not receive? But if you did receive
it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?--By grace you have been
saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God not
as a result of works, that no one should boast. For we are His workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that
we should walk in them.
By the
grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me did not prove vain; but
I labored even more than all of them, yet not I, but the grace of God with
me -- For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things.--All things
come from Thee, and from Thy hand we have given Thee.

LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and
breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living
being.
I will give
thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Thy
works, and my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from Thee,
when I was made in secret. Thine eyes have seen my unformed substance; and
in Thy book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when
as yet there was not one of them
Do we not all have
one father? Has not one God created us?--In Him we live and move and
exist.--Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the LORD has
compassion on those who fear Him.
He, being compassionate, forgave their iniquity,
and did not destroy them; and often He restrained His anger, and did not
arouse all His wrath. Thus He remembered that they were but flesh, a wind
that passes and does not return..

made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on

UCH were some of you;
but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the
name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.--We... were by
nature children of wrath, even as the rest. But God, being rich in mercy,
because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in
our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have

As the Lord
forgave you, so also should you. |
HERE
was a certain moneylender had two debtors: one owed five hundred
denarii, and the other fifty. When they were unable to repay, he graciously
forgave them both. -- I forgave you all that debt because you entreated me.
Should you not also have had mercy on your fellow slave, even as I had mercy
on you?
Whenever you stand
praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father
also who is in heaven may forgive you your transgressions. But if you do not
forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your
transgressions.--As those who have been chosen of God, holy and beloved, put

bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint

LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in
lovingkindness. He will not always strive with us, nor will He keep His

Just as a father has compassion on his children, so the LORD has compassion

We might die
to sin and live to righteousness |
AY aside the old
self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and
that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self,
which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness
of the truth.
You have died and
your life is hidden with Christ in God--Christ was raised from the dead
through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life...
Knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, that our body of sin
might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. F for he
who has died is freed from sin. Even so consider yourselves to be dead to
sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus. Therefore do not let sin reign in
your mortal body that you should obey its lusts, and do not go on presenting
the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but
present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as
instruments of righteousness to God.

Abide in me, and I in you. |
have
been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives
in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son
of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me
I
know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh, for the wishing
is present in me, but the doing of the good is not. Wretched man that I am!
Who will set me free from the body of this death? Thanks be to God through
Jesus Christ our Lord! --If Christ is in you, though the body is dead
because of sin, yet the spirit is alive because of righteousness.--If indeed
you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved
away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard
Little children,
abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence and not shrink
away from Him in shame at His coming.-- The one who says he abides in Him
ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

Do you believe
in the Son of Man? |
HO is He, Lord, that
I may believe in Him?
The
radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature.--The
blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords Who alone
possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light; whom no man has
seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen.--I am the Alpha
and the Omega, says the Lord God, Who is and Who was and Who is to come, the
Almighty.
Lord, I
believe.--I know Whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to
guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.
BEHOLD I
LAY IN ZION A CHOICE STONE, A PRECIOUS CORNER stone, AND HE WHO BELIEVES IN
HIM SHALL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. This precious value, then, is for you who
believe.
