November 1, MORNING

November 1, EVENING

Blessed is the man who listens to me,
Watching daily at my gates,
Waiting at my doorposts.

BEHOLD, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, until He is gracious to us

A continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the doorway of the tent of meeting before the Lord, where I will meet with you, to speak to you there.--In every place where I cause My name to be remembered, I will come to you and bless you.

For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.

An hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit.--Pray without ceasing.

Pr 8.34. Ps. 123.2. Ex. 29.42.--
Ex. 20.24. Mt 18.20. Jn 4.23, 24.
Ep. 6.18.--1 Th. 5.17.

His name will be called...
Counselor.

THE Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him, The spirit of wisdom and understanding, The spirit of counsel and strength, The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the LORD. And He will delight in the fear of the LORD,
Does not wisdom call and understanding lift up her voice? To you, O men, I call, And my voice is to the sons of men. O naive ones, discern prudence; And, O fools, discern wisdom. 6 "Listen, for I shall speak noble things; And the opening of my lips will produce right things. Counsel is mine and sound wisdom; I am understanding, power is mine.
The LORD of hosts...Who has made His counsel wonderful and His wisdom great.--If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.--Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.

Always seek after
that which is good for one another

FOR you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps: and while being reviled, He did not revile in return...but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously.--Consider Him Who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

Let us every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God

Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

1Th 5.15. 1Pe 2.21, 22, 23. He 12.3.
Heb 12.1, 2. Phil 4.8.

The Mighty God.

YOU are fairer than the sons of men; Grace is poured upon Your lips; Therefore God has blessed You forever.. Gird Your sword on Your thigh, O Mighty One, in Your splendor and Your majesty! And in Your majesty ride on victoriously...Your throne, O God, is forever and ever, a scepter of uprightness is the scepter of Your kingdom --You spoke in vision to Your godly ones, and said, “I have given help to one who is mighty.--The man, My Associate declares the Lord of hosts.

Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid, for the Lord God is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation.--Thanks  be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ.

Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen

November 3, EVENING

The ways of the LORD are right, and the
just shall walk in them: but the
transgressors shall fall therein.

UNTO you . . . which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, . . . and a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence.--The way of the LORD is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.--Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the lovingkindness of the LORD.--The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.--If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God.--Whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance.

He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.--Ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.--My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.

The everlasting Father.

HEAR, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD.

I and my Father are one.--The Father is in me, and I in him.--If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.--Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father.--Behold I and the children which God hath given me.--He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied.--I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.--Before Abraham was, I am.--God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

Unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever.--He is before all things, and by him all things consist.--In him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Now for a season, if need be, ye are in
heaviness through manifold
temptations.

BELOVED, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: but rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.--The exhortation . . . speaks unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him.--Now no chastening for the present seems joyful, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who are trained thereby.

We have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.--For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.--God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able.

The Prince of Peace

HE shall judge thy people with righteousness, and thy poor with judgment. The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness. He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth. In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endures.--Glory to God . . . on earth peace, good will toward men.

Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.--Peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all).

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.--Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you.--The peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Take also for yourself the finest of spices...and you shall make of these a holy anointing oil

IT shall not be poured on anyone's body, nor shall you make any like it, in the same proportions; it is holy, and it shall be holy to you. -- One Spirit -- There are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit.

Thy God, hath anointed Thee With the oil of joy above Thy fellows -- God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power.--He gives the Spirit without measure.

Of His fulness we have all received, and grace upon grace.--His anointing teaches you about all things, and is true and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you abide in Him.--He Who... anointed us is God Who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

The form of this world is passing away.

ALL the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he died.
Let the brother of humble circumstances glory in his high position and let the rich man glory in his humiliation, because like flowering grass he will pass away. For the sun rises with a scorching wind, and withers the grass; and its flower falls off, and the beauty of its appearance is destroyed; so too the rich man in the midst of his pursuits will fade away--Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.--The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God abides forever.
LORD, make me to know my end, and what is the extent of my days. Let me know how transient I am--While they are saying, Peace and safety! then destruction will come upon them suddenly like birth pangs upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief.

November 6, MORNING November 6, EVENING

When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.

I AM the resurrection, and the life: he who believes in Me shall live even if he dies --God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.
The Lord Himself Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.--When He appears, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him just as He is.--It is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power
If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

Lead me in Thy truth and teach me.

WHEN . . . the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth.--You have an anointing from the Holy One, and you all know.
To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because they have no dawn.--All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work.--The sacred writings...are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you --The lamp of the body is the eye; if therefore your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light --If any man is willing to do His will, he shall know of the teaching, whether it is of God, or whether I speak from Myself.--Fools will not wander on it.

November 7, MORNING November 7, EVENING

Let them give thanks to the LORD for His lovingkindness and for His wonders to the sons of men!

O taste and see that the LORD is good -- How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! How great is Thy goodness, which Thou hast stored up for those who fear Thee.
The people whom I formed for Myself, will declare My praise -- He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. -- That we who were the first to hope in Christ should be to the praise of His glory.
How great is his goodness and how great is his beauty -- The LORD is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works. All Thy works shall give thanks to Thee, O LORD, and Thy godly ones shall bless Thee. They shall speak of the glory of Thy kingdom, and talk of Thy power to make known to the sons of men Thy mighty acts, and the glory of the majesty of Thy kingdom

Ps. 145.9-12

Behold, we count those blessed who endured.

WE also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us. -- All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness -- Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. And let endurance have its perfect result, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing -- Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. -- Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may dwell in me... for when I am weak, then I am strong.

November 8, EVENING

Let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation

GGIRD your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.--Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth and having put on the breastplate of righteousness in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming missiles of the evil one. And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
He will swallow up death for all time, and the Lord GOD will wipe tears away from all faces, and He will remove the reproach of His people from all the earth; For the LORD has spoken. And it will be said in that day, Behold, this is our God for Whom we have waited that He might save us. This is the LORD for whom we have waited; Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.
Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.

1Th. 5.8. 1 Pe. 1.13.-- Ep. 6.14, 16, 17.
Isa 25.8, 9. Heb 11.1.

The sons of Israel camped before them like two little flocks of goats, but the Arameans filled the country.

TTHUS says the LORD, Because the Arameans have said, The LORD is a god of the mountains, but He is not a god of the valleys; therefore I will give all this great multitude into your hand, and you shall know that I am the LORD. So they camped one over against the other seven days. And it came about that on the seventh day, the battle was joined, and the sons of Israel killed of the Arameans 100,000 foot soldiers in one day.--You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you. Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
They will fight against you, but they will not overcome you, for I am with you to deliver you, declares the LORD.

I have laid help upon one that is mighty;
I have exalted one chosen out of
the people.

I , EVEN I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.--There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.--There is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

The mighty God.--Who made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name.--We see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.--Forasmuch . . . as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same.

Gather my saints together unto me; those
that have made a covenant with me
by sacrifice.

CHRIST was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.--He is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, . . . they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am.--Then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.--If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee.

The dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

November 10, MORNING November 10, EVENING

Bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God

I urge you...brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect --As you presented your members as slaves to impurity and to lawlessness, resulting in further lawlessness, so now present your members as slaves to righteousness, resulting in sanctification --neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation. And those who will walk by this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.
By this is My Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples--I chose you, and appointed you, that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask of the Father in My name, He may give to you.

Col 1.10. Ro. 12.1, 2.--Ro. 6.19.--
Ga. 6.15, 16. Jn 15.8. Jn 15. 16.

I sought him but did not find him

RETURN O Israel, to the LORD your God, For you have stumbled because of your iniquity. Take words with you and return to the LORD. Say to Him, Take away all iniquity, And receive us graciously
Let no one say when he is tempted, I am being tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with Whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
      Wait on the L
ORD. Be strong, and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the LORD --It is good that he waits silently For the salvation of the LORD --shall not God bring about justice for His elect, who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them?
My soul waits in silence for God only; From Him is my salvation. My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him.

He led them safely

I walk in the way of righteousness, In the midst of the paths of justice
Behold, I am going to send an angel before you to guard you along the way, and to bring you into the place which I have prepared.--In all their affliction He was afflicted, and the angel of His presence saved them; In His love and in His mercy He redeemed them; and He lifted them and carried them all the days of old.
By their own sword they did not possess the land; And their own arm did not save them; But Thy right hand, and Thine arm, and the light of Thy presence, For Thou didst favor them --So didst Thou lead Thy people, to make for Thyself a glorious name.
O LORD, lead me in Thy righteousness because of my foes; Make Thy way straight before me.--O send out Thy light and Thy truth, let them lead me. Let them bring me to Thy holy hill, and to Thy dwelling places. Then I will go to the altar of God, to God my exceeding joy; and upon the lyre I shall praise Thee, O God, my God.

You were washed... you were sanctified...
you were  justified

THE blood Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin --The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, and by His scourging we are healed.
Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her; that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she should be holy and blameless.-- It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints --Let us draw near with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
Who will bring a charge against God's elect? God is the one who justifies.--How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered! How blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit!

The sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret

PETER remembered the word which Jesus had said, Before a cock crows, you will deny Me three times. And he went out and wept bitterly --If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.-- The blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to see. They are more numerous than the hairs of my head and my heart has failed me. Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me. Make haste, O LORD, to help me.
Return to your God, observe kindness and justice, and wait for your God continually.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, Thou wilt not despise.--He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds .--He has told you, O man, what is good and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love kindness and to walk humbly with your God?

2Co 7.10. Mt. 26.75.--1 Jn 1.9.-- 1Jn 1.7. Ps. 40.12, 13. Ho. 12.6. Ps. 51.17.--Ps. 147.3.--Mic 6.8.

Is it well with you?
And she answered,
It is well.

WE having the same spirit of faith. As punished yet not put to death, as sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing yet possessing all things.
We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body -- Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Beloved, I pray that in all respects you may prosper and be in good health, just as your soul prospers.

Christ...loved the church and gave Himself up for her that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word

WALK in love, just as Christ also loved you, and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma-- for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and abiding word of God.
Sanctify them in the truth; Thy word is truth-- Unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God --not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit --Thy word has revived me.
The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul. The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple. The precepts of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart. The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

I IN them, and Thou in Me, that they may be perfected in unity.
Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you, and will be in you. --There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.-- When you pray, say: Father, hallowed be Thy name
Since therefore, brethren, we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus by a new and living...let us draw near.

November 14, MORNING November 14, EVENING

Thou art my help and my deliverer. Do not delay, O my God.

THE steps a man are established by the LORD and He delights in his way. When he falls, he shall not be hurled headlong; Because the LORD is the One who holds his hand -- In the fear of the LORD there is strong confidence, And his children will have refuge --Who are you that you are afraid of man who dies, And of the son of man who is made like grass that you have forgotten the LORD your Maker.
I am with you to deliver you.--Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble at them, for the LORD your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you or forsake you.
I shall sing of Thy strength; Yes, I shall joyfully sing of Thy lovingkindness in the morning, for Thou hast been my stronghold and a refuge in the day of my distress --Thou art my hiding place. Thou dost preserve me from trouble. Thou dost surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.

How will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?

FOR the Jordan overflows all its banks all the days of harvest
The priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan while all Israel crossed on dry ground, until all the nation had finished crossing the Jordan.
We do see Him who has been made for a little while lower than the angels, namely, Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me --When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you.
Do not be afraid; I am the first and the last and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.

November 15, MORNING November 15, EVENING
God is faithful, through whom you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

LET us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful --God said, I will dwell in them and walk among them and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.--Indeed our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ-- To the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing; so that also at the revelation of His glory, you may rejoice with exultation.
Being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fulness of God.
Whosoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God --And the one who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him.

We are His workmanship

THEY quarried great stones, costly stones, to lay the foundation of the house --The house, while it was being built, was built of stone prepared at the quarry, and there was neither hammer nor axe nor any iron tool heard in the house while it was being built.
Ye also, as living stones, are being built up as a spiritual house.--Built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the corner stone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together is growing into a holy temple in the Lord in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling of God in the Spirit --You once were not a people but now you are the people of God.
You are God's building.--Therefore if any man is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come --Now He who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave to us the Spirit as a pledge..

Sanctify them in the truth; Thy word is truth.

You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you.--Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom
How can a young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Thy word. With all my heart I have sought Thee; Do not let me wander from Thy commandments.
Wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul. Discretion will guard you. Understanding will watch over you.
My foot has held fast to His path; I have kept His way and not turned aside. I have not departed from the command of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth more than my necessary food --I more insight than all my teachers, for Thy testimonies are my meditation .--If abide in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Fellow citizens with the saints.

You have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels, to the general assembly and church of the first-born who are enrolled in heaven, and to God, the Judge of all, and to the spirits of righteous men made perfect.
These died in faith, without receiving the promises, but having seen them and having welcomed them from a distance, and having confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth --Our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself --The Father... delivered us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son

Thy thoughts are very deep.

WE have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding --That you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled up to all the fulness of God.
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways! -- My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, declares the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts..--Many, O L
ORD my God, are the wonders which Thou hast done, and Thy thoughts toward us; There is none to compare with Thee; If I would declare and speak of them, they would be too numerous to count.

Whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.

THOSE who sow trouble harvest it --They sow the wind, And they reap the whirlwind --The one who sows to his own flesh shall from the flesh reap corruption
He who sows righteousness gets a true reward-- The one who sows to the Spirit shall from the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
There is one who scatters, yet increases all the more, And there is one who withholds what is justly due, but it results only in want. The generous man will be prosperous, and he who waters will himself be watered.--He who sows sparingly shall also reap sparingly; and he who sows bountifully shall also reap bountifully.

With His fierce wind He has expelled them on the day of the east wind.

BE made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God not as a result of works, that no one should boast --Every good thing bestowed and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow
Work out your salvation with fear and trembling for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.-- Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
-- Having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
Not that we are adequate in ourselves to consider anything as coming from ourselves, but our adequacy is from God

I did not believe the reports, until I came and my eyes had seen it. And behold, the half was not told me.

COME out from THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE says the Lord. AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you. And I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to Me Says the Lord Almighty.
-- Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
Jesus... that He might sanctify the people through His own blood, suffered outside the gate. Hence, let us go out to Him outside the camp, bearing His reproach.
Jesus said Come away by yourselves to a lonely place and rest a while. --The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

November 19, MORNING November 19, EVENING

You will know them by their fruits.

LITTLE children, let no one deceive you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous.--Does a fountain send out from the same opening both fresh and bitter water? Can a fig tree, my brethren, produce olives, or a vine produce figs? Neither can salt water produce fresh. Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom.--Keep your behavior excellent among the Gentiles, so that in the thing in which they slander you as evildoers, they may on account of your good deeds, as they observe them, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or make the tree bad, and its fruit bad; for the tree is known by its fruit.--The good man out of his good treasure brings forth what is good; and the evil man out of his evil treasure brings forth what is evil.

I shall make the place of My feet glorious.

THUS says the LORD, Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool.

Will God indeed dwell with mankind on the earth? Behold, heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain Thee; how much less this house which I have built.

Thus says the LORD of hosts, Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land. And I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations; and I will fill this house with glory, says the LORD of hosts. The latter glory of this house will be greater than the former says the LORD of hosts.

I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there is no longer any sea. And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He shall dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be among them,

Though I dwell in darkness, the LORD is a light for me.

W HEN you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior --I will lead the blind by a way they do not know, in paths they do not know I will guide them. I will make darkness into light before them and rugged places into plains. These are the things I will do and I will not leave them undone.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil; for Thou art with me. Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me --When I am afraid, I will put my trust in Thee. In God, Whose word I praise, in God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me? --The LORD is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The LORD is the defense of my life. Whom shall I dread?

There is one God, and one mediator also between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

H EAR, O Israel: The LORD our God the LORD is one! --A mediator is not for one party only; whereas God is only one.

We have sinned like our fathers, We have committed iniquity, we have behaved wickedly. Our fathers in Egypt did not understand Thy wonders; They did not remember Thine abundant kindnesses... Therefore He said that He would destroy them, had not Moses His chosen one stood in the breach before Him, to turn away His wrath from destroying them.

Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest of our confession. He was faithful to Him who appointed Him, as Moses also was in all His house.

He is also the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted on better promises --I will be merciful to their iniquities and I will remember their sins no more.

The one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.

IT shall come about that when he cries out to Me, I will hear him, for I am gracious --I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.--I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant.

Come now nd let us reason together, says the LORD, Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool.--Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and He will have compassion on him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon --Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom! And He said to him, Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.

His beloved Son.

LO a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well-pleased. --Behold, My Servant, whom I uphold; My chosen one in whom My soul delights.--The only begotten Son God, who is in the bosom of the Father

By this the love of God was manifested in us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins...And we have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love.

The glory which Thou hast given Me I have given to them; that they may be one, just as We are one; I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, that the world may know that Thou didst send Me, and didst love them, even as Thou didst love Me--See how great a love the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called children of God

Praying in the Holy Spirit.

G OD is a Spirit: those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.-- Through Him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father.

My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as Thou wilt.
The Spirit...helps our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words and He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God --This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us .--When He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth

With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints

There is hope for a tree, when it is cut down, that it will sprout again, and its shoots will not fail.

A BRUISED reed He will he not break.--He restores my soul.

Sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a repentance without regret, leading to salvation; but the sorrow of the world produces death
--All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.

Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Thy word--After all that has come upon us for our evil deeds and our great guilt, since Thou our God hast requited us less than our iniquities deserve, and hast given us an escaped remnant as this,

Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy. Though I fall I will rise; though I dwell in darkness, the LORD is a light for me. I will bear the indignation of the LORD because I have sinned against Him, until He pleads my case and executes justice for me. He will bring me out to the light, and I will see His righteousness.

He who listens to me shall live securely, and shall be at ease from the dread of evil.

LORD, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.--He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty--His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark.

Your life is hidden with Christ in God -He who touches you, touches the apple of His eye --Do not fear! Stand by and see the salvation of the LORD. The LORD will fight for you while you keep silent.--God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear.

Jesus spoke to them, saying, Take courage, it is I; do not be afraid.-- Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.--for I know whom I have believed and I am convinced that He is able to guard what I have entrusted to Him until that day.

He must reign until He has put all His enemies under His feet.

Thanks be to God, Who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ --He raised Him from the dead, and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in the one to come. And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fulness of Him who fills all in all --He will bring about at the proper time-He Who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords.

My mother and My brothers are these who hear the word of God and do it.

B OTH He who sanctifies and those who are sanctified are all from one Father; for which reason He is not ashamed to call them brethren, saying, I WILL PROCLAIM THY NAME TO MY BRETHREN, IN THE MIDST OF THE CONGREGATION I WILL SING THY PRAISE --In Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love --You are My friends, if you do what I command you.--Blessed are those who hear the word of God, and observe it.

Not every who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.--My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to accomplish His work.

If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth --Whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him

What are you doing here, Elijah?

H E knows the way I take.--O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou dost know when I sit down and when I rise up; Thou dost understand my thought from afar. Thou dost scrutinize my path and my lying down, and art intimately acquainted with all my ways. Where can I go from Thy Spirit? Or where can I flee from Thy presence?--If I take the wings of the dawn, if I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, even there Thy hand will lead me, and Thy right hand will lay hold of me.

Elijah was a man with a nature like ours --The fear of man brings a snare, but he who trusts in the LORD will be exalted.--When he falls, he shall not be hurled headlong; because the LORD is the One who holds his hand.--A righteous man falls seven times, and rises again

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.--The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.--Just as a father has compassion on his children, So the LORD has compassion on those who fear Him.

NOVEMBER 25, MORNING NOVEMBER 25, EVENING

Having been freed from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.

YOU cannot serve God and mammon--When  when you were slaves of sin, you were free in regard to righteousness. Therefore what benefit were you then deriving from the things of which you are now ashamed? For the outcome of those things is death. But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.

Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there shall My servant also be; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him --Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and YOU SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. For My yoke is easy, and My load is light..

O LORD our God, other masters besides Thee have ruled us; but through Thee alone we confess Thy name --I shall run the way of Thy commandments, for Thou wilt enlarge my heart.

EVERYONE WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD SHALL BE SAVED

M ANASSEH...did evil in the sight of the LORD, according to the abominations of the nations... for...he erected altars for Baal...and worshiped all the host of heaven and served them... and he made his son pass through the fire, practiced witchcraft and used divination and dealt with mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the LORD provoking Him to anger --And when he was in distress, he entreated the LORD his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers. When he prayed to Him, He was moved by his entreaty and heard his supplication.

Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD, Though your sins are as scarlet, they will be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they will be like wool.

My delight is in her

THUS says the LORD, your Creator..."Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name; you are Mine!--Can a woman forget her nursing child, and have no compassion on the son of her womb? Even these may forget, but I will not forget you. Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; Your walls are continually before Me.

The steps of a man are established by the LORD; and He delights in his way.--My delight were in the sons of men.
--The L
ORD favors those who fear Him, those who wait for His lovingkindness.--They will be Mine, says the LORD of hosts, on the day that I prepare My own possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.

You were formerly alienated and hostile in mind, engaged in evil deeds, yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach

Isa 62.4. Isa 43.1.--Isa 49.15, 16.
Ps. 37.23.--Pr. 8.31.--Ps. 147.11.--
Mal. 3.17. Col. 1.21, 22.

The sorrow of the world produces death.

WHEN Ahithophel saw that his counsel was not followed, he saddled his donkey and arose and went to his home, to his city, and set his house in order, and strangled himself; thus he died --A broken spirit who can bear?

Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then has not the health of the daughter of my people been restored?--The LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted...to comfort all who mourn, to grant those who mourn in Zion, giving them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting.--Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and YOU SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS. For My yoke is easy, and My load is light.

Philip...preached Jesus to him--He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds.

NOVEMBER 27, MORNING NOVEMBER 27, EVENING

The glory which Thou hast given Me I have given to them

ISAW the Lord sitting on a throne, lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple. Seraphim stood above Him...and one called out to another and said, Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, the whole earth is full of His glory.--These things Isaiah said, because he saw His glory, and he spoke of Him --On that which resembled a throne, high up, was a figure with the appearance of a man. As the appearance of the rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the surrounding radiance. Such was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD.
I pray Thee, show me Thy glory! But He said, You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live! --No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten God, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has explained Him.--God, who said, Light shall shine out of darkness, is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

Jn 17.22. Isa 6.1-3.--Jn 12.41--
Ezek 1.26, 28. Ex. 33.18, 20.--Jn 1.18.-- 2 Co. 4.6.

My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.

SHE took from its fruit and ate; and she gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.--Did not Achan the son of Zerah act unfaithfully in the things under the ban, and wrath fall on all the congregation of Israel? And that man did not perish alone in his iniquity.
You shall not follow a multitude in doing evil
The gate is wide, and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and many are those who enter by it.
Not one of us lives for himself, and not one dies for himself -- You were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another --Take care lest this liberty of yours somehow become a stumbling block to the weak --By sinning against the brethren and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
All of us like sheep have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; but the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all to fall on Him.

NOVEMBER 28, MORNING NOVEMBER 28, EVENING

Just as the body without the spirit is dead, so also faith without works is dead.

NOT everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven --The sanctification without which no one will see the Lord --in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they render you neither useless nor unfruitful in the true knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these qualities is blind or short-sighted, having forgotten his purification from his former sins. Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble
By grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God not as a result of works, that no one should boast.

Jas 2.26. Mt. 7.21.--Heb 12.14.
2 Pe 1.5-10. Ep. 2.8-9.

Since then the children share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same, that...he might...deliver those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.

ODEATH, WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY? O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?...Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ --Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.
We know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. Therefore being always of good courage, and knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. We... prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord.
Let not your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you.

Heb. 2.14, 15. 1 Co. 15.55, 57.--
2 Co. 4.16. 2 Co. 5.1, 6-8. Jn 14.1-2.

NOVEMBER 29, MORNING NOVEMBER 29, EVENING

We will be satisfied with the goodness of Thy house, Thy holy temple.

ONE thing I have asked from the LORD, that I shall seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to meditate in His temple.
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.--He HAS FILLED THE HUNGRY WITH GOOD THINGS; AND SENT AWAY THE RICH EMPTY-HANDED.
He has satisfied the thirsty soul, and the hungry soul He has filled with what is good.--I am the bread of life: he who comes to Me shall not hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst.
How precious is Thy lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Thy wings. They drink their fill of the abundance of Thy house; and Thou dost give them to drink of the river of Thy delights. For with Thee is the fountain of life; In Thy light we see light.

Ps. 65.4. Ps. 27.4. Mt. 5.6.--Lk. 1.53. Ps. 107.9--Jn 6.35. Ps. 36.7-9.

Do you now believe?

WHAT use is it, my brethren, if a man says he has faith, but he has no works? Can that faith save him? Faith, if it has no works, is dead, being by itself.
By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Isaac; and he who had received the promises was offering up his only begotten son... He considered that God is able to raise men even from the dead --Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he offered up Isaac his son on the altar? Ye see that a man is justified by works, and not by faith alone.
One who looks intently at the perfect law, the law of liberty, and abides by it, not having become a forgetful hearer but an effectual doer, this man shall be blessed in what he does.
"So then, you will know them by their fruits. Not everyone who says to Me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.--If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them.

Jn 16.31. Jas 2.14, 17. Heb 11.17-19.--
Jas 2.21, 24 Jas 1.25. Mt 7.20, 21.-- Jn 13.17.

NOVEMBER 30, MORNING NOVEMBER 30, EVENING

May the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all!

PEACE, from Him who is and who was and who is to come --The peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
He Himself stood in their midst and saith unto them and He said to them, why are you troubled?--Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful.
The Helper...that is the Spirit of truth--The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace.--The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.
My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest. Then he said to Him, If Thy presence does not go with us, do not lead us up from here. For how then can it be known that I have found favor in Thy sight, I and Thy people? Is it not by Thy going with us?

2Th 3.16. Re 1.4.--Php 4.7 Lk. 24.36,38.--Jn 14.27 Jn 15.26-- Ga 5.22.--Ro. 8.16. Ex. 33.14-16.

We exult in our tribulations.

IF we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied.
Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing; so that also at the revelation of His glory, you may rejoice with exultation.--Sorrowful, yet always rejoicing.
Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I will say, Rejoice.--They went on their way from the presence of the Council, rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name.
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing.
Though the fig tree should not blossom, and there be no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive should fail, and the fields produce no food, though the flock should be cut off from the fold, and there be no cattle in the stalls, yet I will exult in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
